What is not to love about Lower Downtown Denver, Colorado, also lovingly referred to as LoDo? While the name of this community may sound like it is south of Downtown Denver, it is actually Northwest of the Downtown area. The term "lower" refers to the elevation of the area. It is on the lowlands of the local river systems. The LoDo is found within the boundaries created by Cherry Creek/Speers Blvd, Larimer Street, 20th Street and Wewatter Street. If you are looking for a rental property that offers you easy access to Denver nightlife, museums and local attractions then you will want to start your rental search by looking for a Lower Downtown apartment.

There are several things that make Lower Downtown apartment complexes unique. First of all this area of town has a zoning of B-7. This means that the buildings are zoned for mixed use, or both residential and commercial use, and it also means that there is a height cap for buildings. These restrictions will limit the number of floors that your Lower Downtown apartment complexes will have, but it will also ensure that you can still have a great view of the city and the surrounding mountains.

When you move into one of the eclectic Lower Downtown Denver apartment complexes you will find yourself in the heart of the Denver entertainment district. You will have over 70 bars, taverns and restaurants to patron, you will have easy access to local museums, and you will have easy access to the local sports arenas. To make things even better you will have easy access to public transportation including the rail line, the city bus line and free mall shuttles.
